THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL
March 21, 2024 – April 15, 2024
80-year-old Carrie plans to escape her son and his authoritarian wife and return to Bountiful, Texas, her idealized hometown. With a new friend she plans her getaway but alas, home isn’t as she remembers. A master-piece about memory and the universal yearning for home. “I’ve never been more deeply moved by a theat-rical experience of any kind.”

When the police disrupt a peaceful civil rights protest, three unarmed strangers, Lily, a middle- aged mother and two young men, take refuge from the streets and find themselves in the Lord Mayor’s office. As the three settle in, word spreads about its “occupation” and the motley trio are branded as terrorists and their position used to everyone’s advantage except their own.
