Volunteer Position: GUEST COMPANY COORDINATOR to join FOJAC

The Friends of Jericho Arts Centre (FOJAC) a not for profit society responsible for the running of the Jericho Arts Centre, is seeking 1 or 2 new members to act as Guest Company Coordinators for the Jericho Arts Centre. This position will oversee all incoming requests from Independent Theatre and Film Companies and in conjunction with its Board of Directors, assist in the choosing, scheduling and programming for the year. In addition, this position will require the volunteer to provide the companies with contracts, facilitate deposits and potentially be available to show interested companies around the Theatre in Vancouver. 1 or 2 people to act as a team could fill this position. Volunteer Position – JAC Publicist

The Jericho Arts Centre seeks a volunteer to work with their Director of Communications to help promote guest companies with their upcoming shows. Duties involve assisting in the collection of advertising assets, press releases, photos etc from these companies, designing email blasts and managing Social Media content on Instagram and Facebook. Volunteers are needed at Jericho Arts Centre behind the scenes, front of house, and in the office.

Jericho Arts Centre always welcomes volunteers.

There are many opportunities for creative participation: set design, costume design, set decoration, set dressing, lighting design, sound design, graphic design, props, set construction, carpentry, set painting, electrical, technical, lighting, sewing, crafts, dressers, stage managers, front-of-house, box office (tickets), selling concession, and publicity.

Volunteer Form

The Jericho Arts Centre helps and enables organizations to perform Theartre, Music & Dance in its theatre. We also present displays of visual art. We have an on-going need for many volunteers for administration and production support. Production organizations who use JAC also provide many oportunites for performers and a wide range of production tasks. If you want to volunteer for JAC, please complete this form and we will contact you when we need your skills.
